Rest assured, I was already telecommuting before the coronavirus pandemic. I have everything I need at home to serve you. I’m up and running and taking on new customers too.

In light of our Prime Minister’s new March 25 instructions to put Quebec on pause, what’s changing for me is that there are no more meetings or visits until the restrictions are lifted.

To my “seller” or “landlord” clients, I recommend that you take advantage of this break to do some basic home staging of your spaces. The basic principles of home staging are: decluttering, depersonalizing, reorganizing, creating ambiance! HEALTH MEASURES

Wash your hands

Health authorities are adamant that we must wash our hands with soap (the best option), dozens of times a day, to kill micro-organisms.

Decontaminate your groceries

Wash all your groceries in soapy water, in your sink, to break down the viral particle and make it non-infectious. First, put everything in one place to avoid spreading. Prepare your soapy water in your disinfected sink. Place bottles, cans and jars in the soapy water, scrub them, and lay them out on a cloth without rinsing to dry. For fruit and vegetables, rinse thoroughly and place on a clean cloth to dry.

Disinfect your home

It’s a good idea to disinfect objects, surfaces, etc., such as telephones and keyboards. We recommend disinfecting objects and surfaces such as telephones, computer keyboards, doorknobs, video game and TV controllers, faucets, switches, bedside tables, armrests, counters, islands, etc.

9 cups of water in a boiler first

1 cup bleach

Stir and transfer to a small spray bottle

INSTRUCTIONS – PUBLIC HEALTH

I invite you, again and every day, to respect the instructions issued by the public health authorities, so as not to become a vector of contagion:

• Telecommute if possible.
• Stay at home as much as possible.
• Keep a distance of 6 feet from anyone when you have to go out shopping.
• No indoor or outdoor gatherings of family or friends.
• Apply recommended sanitary measures on a daily basis.

Let’s be collectively disciplined to fight this virus!

IT’S OKAY TO GET SOME FRESH AIR AND SUNSHINE

• Take a healthy walk – change sides if you pass someone.
• Sit on your balcony for 15 to 30 minutes and breathe.
• Go into your yard, let the kids play, do a bit of reading, dressed warmly.

Indoor confinement is indeed mandatory. However, you can get out in the fresh air and sunshine 2 times a day, just to get some fresh air!
